It all started when…
I woke up inside my father's car one day, heading towards Trier, Germany. The first thing I saw was this giant black city gate, Porta Nigra, the largest Roman city gate north of the Alps. I spent a good hour or two walking inside the gate built around 180 A.D. This ignited my interest in architecture.
My next visit was to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a well-preserved medieval town in the Franconia region of Bavaria, this time with a camera and a tripod.
